18weeks (April 2-April 8)

This is her 18 week picture. It is kind of hard to see because of the light coming through the front door.

The sisters with the "baby blues." They both have Mark's eyes.

Have you noticed she is always wearing a bib? She is a drool champion.

She just keeps getting older before my eyes.

This is a rarity in our house. Addie hardly ever will lay on her own. I feel like since she needs to be held all the time it has made her back and neck muscles weak.

One of many sisterly converstions to come. Hope they are mentioning how cool mom is.

Working on the paint job. I love me some snuggles with Izzy.

The eggs!

We did it!

Our egg dying masterpiece.

Found one!

Finally figuring out that she can put them in the basket instead of holding 3 or 4 at a time or giving them to Daddy.

Addie at her first Husker baseball game.

Wednesday, Addie went in for her 4 month check up and she is doing well. She weighs 15 lbs and  ?ozs. Isn't that horrible. I have forgotten and have misplaced her papers. Poor Addie, I feel like she is getting neglected on the recording side of things. She got her vaccinations and we updated her on her Rotateq. She didn't get it early on because she was so sick. It makes me a little nervous because she can get something called intussuseption where the bowels fold over on themselves. She's been a little fussy and has spit up a few times since the vaccination, so of course my brain is spinning. I'm sure she is fine. Probably just has a little tummy bug.

Mark's birthday was on Saturday. His last year in his 30's. We had a great time. It was the first time we left both girls late with a baby sitter. They seemed to do fine. Mark and I went to Sullivan's and then went to Capitol. After deciding we were to old for the scene we came home and had a night cap. I guess I'm getting old, but home is just the best.

Easter was the next day. We had a great time. It was the first time Izzy really understood the concept, although she would not win any Easter egg hunt competitions. She had to open every egg as she found them and see what was in them. I may have went a little overboard this year. We hid 55 eggs for one 2 year old. Later that day we went to watch the Huskers (and Kash) play baseball. They won by the hair of their chins. We left a little early. It was just a lot to juggle with trying to feed Addie and keep the sun off the girls (...and Mark and I were tired.). Well hope you all had a great Easter and we will post next week.
