I love my baby girl.
I can't believe it is already October. I haven't even started thinking about Halloween decorations. I suppose I should get those out soon. On Izzy's 15th week birthday we hung out and watched Nebraska win by the hair of their chinny-chin-chin. Of course Izzy slept through the entire game. She has been falling asleep around 6:30p and I have to wake her for her 7:20p and 9:30p feeding. I think we may start cutting out the late night feeding and see how she does. I'm a little hesitant because she is sleeping so well. She will sleep until about 5 or 6 am. I love it.
This weekend we are going to visit all the grandparents in GI. It's suppose to snow so we'll see how it goes. It's a whole new story travelling in those conditions with a little one. Cell phone charged....check. Five blankets....check. Bottles.....check. "Car just please get me to where I need to go."
Saturday morning we were surprised at the amount of snow on the ground. We got up an got ready and daddy went and drove around to see how the roads were. He gave us the ok to travel to GI. We hung out w/ Gamma and Grandpa K in the morning. We also visited Great Grandma and Grandpa K, then we had dinner with Gma and Gpa Doering. On Sunday Great Grandma and Grandpa Brown from Mommy's side came to visit and then we left around 2 o'clock. Daddy said he really missed us when we got home.
The day before Izzy's 16th week birthday she started to talk. It was the greatest thing to witness. I made a brrp sound with my lips and she did it back 2 to 3 times. Mark was home with us and I yelled at him to come see. He then did it to her and she did it back. Now we can't get her to do it again, but she is making what we call the Chewbaca sound. That is how she now communicates. It is awesome, we can have our own little conversation Chewy style.
