Week 13!

Such a big girl!
The cheeks and lips....perfect combo.

The Bumbo Seat!

Hanging out on a lazy Sunday with my mommy.

On my 13th week birthday Mommy went to school to pick me up and saw Grayson (a boy at school 10 days older) sitting in the Bumbo seat. She was so shocked he was sitting in the Bumbo seat she had to go home to try me in mine. Surprisingly enough I didn't do too bad.

Mommy and Daddy took their first weekend away. My Gamma came to babysit and they went to Des Moines for a Dave Matthews concert. They said they had lots of fun but missed me alot. Then on Saturday Daddy went to Nebraska's 300th sellout game. Go Big Red!

I'll write again soon.

Week 12!

Mommy and Isabella watching the game at our house with our friends.
Izzy and Oliver!

Izzy's friend Oliver DeMars. What a cutie.

This is Izzy's 12th week. I can't believe she is 3 months already. I didn't get many pictures in because we had a unexpected loss this week. Our good friend Howie Elliott lost his life on Saturday night. He was really sick and it just caught up with him. We are all in shock. We have our good moments and bad. We will forever miss him and love him dearly.
We also had people over for the game on Saturday. We had a great time watching the game and catching up with everyone. It was too bad the Huskers lost because they worked so hard and lost it last minute. We were so close.

Isabella is getting much stronger. Her neck is really starting to hold her head up. She has started to recogize the color red and interacts with us alot. She has really started drooling too. Does that mean teeth are around the corner? From what I've heard, theething isn't hte best of times. We'll see how it goes.

Hope this finds everyone healthy and happy. Take care of yourselves and we'll talk soon.

11 weeks!

Picture day!
Our pride and joy!

Priceless!

Love her!

This week was a little rough. Isabella has a head cold and can't breathe from her nose. She gets so frustrated and the saline and bulb syringe are not her friends. She knows what is going on when I come towards her with them and she starts to bat me away. I can't wait until it runs its course.

Also she has not pooped since Labor Day(Mon) and it is now Friday night. I have called the pediatrician twice and they don't seem to think it is a big deal. They say that breastfed babies can go as long as ten days without a BM. Ugh, I hate it when you have to watch and wait, I want it fixed now.

Izzy is having her first at home babysitter while Mommy is working and Daddy is at the Husker game. Mark's cousin Dessa, that is in the Creighton nursing program, is coming to stay with miss Isabella. We are grateful to have someone so reliable to take care of our bundle of joy.

Here are a few pictures and we will post a few more later. Have a good weekend.

Miss Kingzlee Osborne. One of Izzy's good friends.

Cletus wearing Daddy's hat.

Daddy's girl, that's for sure.

This week was uneventful until the end of the week. Isabella got to experience what it was like to live in Husker Nation. On Friday at daycare they had Husker spirit day so we got to dress in red for the first time. It was a great dress rehersal for her first Husker tailgate the next day. Mommy had to work in the morning so Daddy took her to 10th and T and the tailgating began. She got to meet alot of Mommy and Daddy's friends and her friend Kingzlee joined in the fun. They all thought she was great. When it got closer to the game Mommy and Izzy went to the Peter's house to watch the game with Sarah and Poppy. It was fun to hang out with everyone and we will do it again soon.

Week Nine is here!

Had to put a shirt on under the tutu!

Mom tried to have a photo shoot with a tutu that Gamma made and Izzy wasn't having it.

Wiped out!

Izzy and her big brother.

After a long day of birthday parties at the end of the week.

Just want to eat her up!

Finally getting some real smiles out of her. It just melts your heart.

Izzy is nine weeks! Wow how time flies!

This week also went by very fast. Izzy had her 2 mo check-up and she is growing like a weed. She weighed 11 lbs and 14 ozs and was 22 inches long. She was in the 77% for weight and only 44% for height. Is my poor baby going to be short and fat!?! Izzy also got her immunizations. I was not looking forward to the shots all day. She did do pretty well. The first poke went in and her eyes got real big and the screams started coming. We both were crying but she stopped before I did and fell asleep. She was pretty sleepy the rest of the night and was still a happy baby the next day.

She is as cute as ever and smiles alot. She still loves the ceiling fan and Cookie Monster and her dad can make her smile too. We'll keep you updated next week. Ariann
