Helping mommy plant flowers

Mommy's camera wasn't working well so I'm trying to figure it out while waiting for Izzy to get out of school.

Again, just different pictures trying to fix my camera. At least I have cute subjects to take pictures of.

Addie is always wanting to be a princess. Izzy is still this way a bit too.

Big sister getting Princess Addie ready for the ball.

Mrs. Hammon. Izzy's Kindergarten teacher.

Last day of school. Showered and ready to go.

The whole girl gang at Camps'.

Helping daddy fix the fence that the mowers destroyed.

We found some worm friends in the dirt.

My parents' anniversary invitation. I love the '70s wedding photo.

Hmm. I have to look back at pictures and see what we even did. My flowers got out late this year. Mark and the girls helped me get a few of the pots planted.  I usually spend my Mother's Day running around to all the flower retailers trying to pick the perfect flowers. This year, Mother's Day also fell on the 40th anniversary party for my parents. I thought, that even though your 40th isn't the typical milestone anniversary, it is an amazing accomplishment. So we got together some of my parents' friends and threw them a surprise party. I thought I was going to have a hard time keeping them away from the house long enough, but I actually had a hard time getting home for the party. Then the next day we grilled ribs and celebrated Mother's Day at my parents' house. It was a great weekend. Thanks Mom for all you do.

School ended on May 22 and, oh yeah, I started a new job. I am now working in Elkhorn, just five minutes from my house. I am so EXCITED about this new adventure. I will be there for my girls way more and that means the most to me. It is currently called Elkhorn Ridge Vision but we will be moving to a bigger location at the end of June and it will be called ViewPointe Vision. I will be in with Dr. Matt Klemke and Dr. Dan Novak. The five minute commute is to die for.

On the last day of school all of the kids went to Camps' house for pizza and snacks. Because of my new job I was able to come over for an hour over my lunch. Did I mention I love being so close to home? Izzy ended the school year with Mrs. Hammond and she loved her.

Nothing new that I can remember with Addie. We are still working on the pottying in the pants thing but I'm sure she will master it. She seems to do it when she wants to. Does this mean I will have teenager issues?

Have a good one.
