So cute!

Well, here we are almost half way through June and I am just getting to May's entry. Whew! Life is busy. I'm not sure why, but it is and I'm tired. This post will probably be scattered but this is how I remember it.

At the beginning of the month I woke up to Addie having vomit all over in her crib. I instantly panicked because the day before she had fallen from our ottoman and then she ran smack into a table at Runza that knocked her to the floor. My first thought was a concussion. I couldn't believe I didn't wake up to her vomiting in her crib. So I stayed home from work and took the girls with my. Addie was concluded to be ok, just a virus. Izzy came home with another antibiotic for yet another sinus infection. When will it stop?

In the middle of the month we went to watch Kash's last baseball game as a Husker. The girls had a lot of fun watching the game and playing on the playground. It was definitely a sunscreen day. I thought I had lathered the girls in it and Addie must of had a spot I didn't get. She was fried. I felt so bad. I hate that!

Addie has been very moody lately and attached to my hip. Literally. She is either being held or holding on to my pant leg. I don't mind too much except for when I'm trying to get something done. She is drooling a ton. You would think that she was getting new teeth. I feel like she does it when she is really concentrating on  something. I did some research and the readings were also suggesting enlarged adenoids which our ENT doesn't seem to excited about removing. Addie is saying, "How do you do?" and "Here you go" (when handing us something). She is getting very talkative. I love it.

Izzy has become the protective big sister. She is constantly sticking up for Addie when she does something wrong. We went to Applebees for dinner one night and Addie was acting out and throwing food so I took her outside for a while, and Izzy was so distraught that I was mad at Addie and removed her from the table. Some funny things that Izzy said this month were:

"Addie was crying and I made her happy because I'm getting nicer."

"Mom is it my birthday?"  I said, "In one month, Izzy."  She said, "Yay, one month. I'm going to just cry because I just looove birthdays."   .......My emotional child.

"Mom what is that on your car? " I said, " It's bird poop."  She said, "Eww, I've never heard of a car toilet."

After school one day....  "Mom, I want to change my name to Rosie." I said, "Why Rosie?" She said, "Because there are too many Izzys. I'm Izzy, Sophie's sister is Izzy and so is Levi's dog. "

It's never a dull moment in the Brown house and my house can sure attest. It is filthy and I have a ton of laundry, but I suppose it will be there tomorrow. Hope you are all doing well and we'll talk soon.
