March 2016

I continue to try to perfect my photography skills. Still working at it. These are some of my favorite toothless smiles.

A beautiful day outside on the play set they barely touch.

Heather M. and me at my annual birthday party at Fonner Park in GI.

The girls have been coming with us since they were itty bitty. They love the horses and picking out the ones to win. They also just love running around.

Me and my Momma.

Three generations. My Grandma Brown, my mom, and me.

My Aunt Cindy and Uncle Geo.

The two most important men in my life. Love them.

Jamie, me and Aunt Debbie at dinner after.

Mark's cousin Emily and Addie at the races.

Izzy making her leprechaun trap out of my shoe box.

She's taking it very seriously.

She spread play money all over the top of the box to entice our little friend.

The leprechaun got away with the golden coin anyway.

Ready for St. Patty's Day!

Me and my girls.

I honestly can't remember the events that took place for Easter, but it looks like we went to GI first and ended in Omaha. Izzy is finding eggs in Gamma and PopPop's house.

Looking at all the loot inside the house.

Looking to see if they can find any outside.

They were in luck.

Counting the money with the neighbor's grandkids.

What the Easter Bunny brought back home.

A little play set action with the eggs.

I think these two beauties made out on this Easter morning.

Izzy trying on my glasses.

Took the girls to Zootopia and to lunch.

Liz and I took the kids to the zoo on one of their days of school. Must have been during Spring Break.

Addie at the look out.

Izzy in the bubble.

Loving the penguins.

Just another year older. What 'ya going to do? I feel like time slips away so fast or I am just exhausted and don't feel like doing something and it all piles up. It is now October and I am just getting to my March post. I really don't remember anything from March but will try and tell you about all the pictures.

We of course did our annual trip to Fonner Park for my birthday. It was the 38th birthday I got to celebrate. It is always a great time. Lots of friends and family come to help us celebrate. After we went to a restaurant bar to have food. My dad even stopped by earlier in the week to see if they could handle all of us. Well, they couldn't we waited forever for food and still never got it. We finally asked he bar owner if we could go over to Dickey's BBQ and bring food in. That's what we did. It was a really fun time.

Next we celebrated St. Patrick's Day. We are not Irish in the least bit but love to dress the part every St. Patrick's Day. Izzy even went as far as trying to catch the leprechaun. She was very disappointed the next day when he got away. He thinks he is very sneaky.

For Easter we went to GI. We got up that morning and did Easter with Gamma and PopPop and did an Easter egg hunt with the Albers' grand kids. They are all older and it was quite the competition. The kids each made out with at least $16. Then we went home to spend Easter with Mark. The Easter Bunny also visited our house. The girls were happy to spend the gorgeous afternoon with their Daddy.

During Spring Break I took the girls to the movie Zootopia and lunch. It was a good girls day. Later in the week, Liz (Smith) and I took all the kids to the Zoo. It was a beautiful day and the kids loved spending it together. They have become one of the best neighbors anyone could ask for.

I am going to keep plugging away so hopefully the April post will come soon. One of the many notes I have made to myself over the years is that Addie wanted to be a singer this month and she was very sassy.
