33 weeks

Valentine's present from Gamma and Grandpa K.
My sweetie.

Izzy's first Valentine's card

My Valentine!

This week Izzy got to spend lots of time with Gamma and Grandpa K. Gamma came up on Sunday during the snow storm. We were getting worried because the storm was getting worse and Gamma was still on the road. She finally made it and she watched Izzy while Mark and I got ready for Hawaii.

My mom took Izzy back to Grand Island on Tuesday. My parents and Mark's parents got to enjoy their little granddaughter for a week they just loved it.

I was happy that Isabella was over her RSV and ear infection before she went to stay with Gamma and Grandpa. She also is starting to get her top front two teeth so hopefully she isn't a bear for grandparents. She wasn't with her bottom two so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

We'll tell you all about our trip next week.

32 weeks

These pictures are a little backwards. Everyday this week Izzy had a little outfit for Valentine's Day. The first four pics are of her outfits. The rest of Valentine's week is finished on 33 weeks.

Izzy's art work--"Crumpled"

She loves paper

Well we are still working with the snotty nose and the labored breathing. All bacterial infection portion is clearing nicely, but the virus is still lingering. We haven't had to do the breathing treatments very often which is good. She does do them well until the very end and then she has had enough.

She is still saying "mama" with such clarity. It drives Mark crazy. She loves being in her jumping chair, and we are now working on crawling. She does great on her tummy but quickly gets frustrated when she can't get to the item she wants. She seems to be pushing herself backwards. Any suggestions on how to get my munchking moving? I suppose though once she starts moving we will be running. Hope you all have a great Valentines and we'll talk soon.

Gamma and Grandpa came to Omaha this weekend. There was a hunting show at the Qwest Center that the guys went to. The girls went shopping. Izzy is such a good shopper. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

On Monday Izzy woke up with watery and mattery eyes, her cough had gotten worse and she was really congested. I knew for sure her ears were bothering her. I took her to the pediatrician and sure enough another double ear infection. Ugh! Now we are on antibiotics again and I'm just anticipating the diaper rash. I hate it.

On Wednesday morning Izzy woke up and she was wheezing a bit. I went into work, rearranged a few patients, and took Izzy back to the pediatricians' office. Twice in one week.....awesome (sarcasm). They did a oxygen test and she had enough O2 in her blood so there was no need to hospitalize. They did do a breathing treatment on her and it improved the wheezing. She was diagnosed with mild RSV. We took home a nebulizer and have to do treatments as needed. It is the worst feeling watching your baby struggle to breathe properly. We'll keep you posted on how she is doing.

On a positive note, Izzy started saying "Mama" this week. She says it all the time. Though she said "Dada" first, she says "Mama" more often. I'm such a proud mommy.
