September 2015

Izzy made and tried her first carmel apple from school.

Addie went with Mark and I to watch Izzy at the Fire Ridge All Star Event. The balance beam was one of the stations.

Elkhorn cheerleaders came to help the kids celebrate.

Izzy has really been getting into shooting baskets. Just before this she had me over at Camp's house shooting baskets for hours. This particular instance she made the shot and I missed it. She was soooooo mad at me. She wouldn't talk to me or Mark and started crying. I felt really bad. I hope this isn't how the teenage years will be.

Izzy was helping me brush the dog. Cletus loves it.

Lots of Cletus hair.

Isn't she lovely!?!

I even got to enjoy the swings. It's been a while.

This is one of Addies favorite past-times.

This day the girls couldn't agree on what they wanted for lunch. Izzy wanted Firebirds and Addie wanted Cheesburger in Paradise. So, Mark had a date with Izzy and I had a date with Addie and we all met up for ice cream at Cold Stone after. It was kind of fun to be one on one with the girls.

We went to lunch with our friend Val and Addie had to use the restroom. I loved the joy she got from the air blowing on her face. Look at the flying hair in the mirror. It's the best.

Addie and Emery ready for their first dance class. They loved it for about 3 weeks and had enough.

Watching the boys in the class before.

All the awesome ladies I work with were spoiled with a spa day. Love my new job!!!!

A little shopping before the Huskers play. Love the outlet mall.

A little Sonic before the pumpkin patch. It was an eventful dinner. Addie had to go to the bathroom and Izzy didn't want to go so I was running between the bathroom and the front of the building to make sure they were both ok. When Addie was done she went to wash her hands and tried to get soap. It was hand sanitizer and she was shorter than the dispenser and it got in her eye. She was screaming how bad it hurt. I had to lift her up and stick her head under the sink spout to rinse her eye. It seemed to work, but she went to the pumpkin patch a little wet.

We went to the pumpkin patch for Avery Snodgrass's birthday.

These girls will be the best of friends for a long time.

Through all the crazy times.

Ella, Emery, Addie, Izzy, Avery.

These two crack me up!

Baby Sawyer among all these girls.

They all had to have glow sticks.

The princesses in the carriage.

Izzy and Ella at their first Husker game. They loved it, Addie could leave it.

This weather at the end of September is amazing.

Harrison has "chalked" it up as one of the best days of the season.

Two of my favorite people, Liz and Harrison.

All of these kids are going to be great friends growing up. I'm so happy we moved to this neighborhood.

Love her and her innocence.

I would love to know what they were talking about.

Grocery shopping with Mom. We get to spend a lot of time together on Mondays now that I have a great new job! The doll in the picture is what Addie will be for Halloween.

These last few months have been a whirl wind. It is now the end of November and I am just getting ready to write this. Not sure I can remember much. We have really been able to enjoy last days of summer. The weather has been beautiful and being outside is our favorite.

We have spent many days with our great neighbors and friends. I love all the good friends that they have. At the end of the month we went to Vala's Pumpkin Patch with Snodgrasses and Mulligans. We went in the evening and it was fun. It was a little nerve wracking because you can't see the kids well if they run off. Izzy and Addie wanted to go through the haunted house and I hate them. So, Courtney took the girls through their first haunted house. They loved it.

Izzy has been playing basketball and loving it. She has a lot to learn, but being with her friends is fun for her. She also has me out shooting baskets with her and I am horrible, but it's fun spending time with her. Addie has started taking a dance class and isn't quite sure she likes it. I'm going to keep trying but fighting her every week is not fun.

I hope you are having a great Fall and and Go Big Red!
