Again I am behind. I'm not sure where the days go but, they are gone. April went by in a flash. We celebrated Mark's 42nd birthday and he doesn't act a day over 21. Except, maybe, he works his hiney off. Very busy at work but he is great at what he does. For Mark's birthday we went to Louie's Wine and Dive for dinner and just enjoyed family time. He has also been busy trying to help Izzy learn to ride her bike with no training wheels. He searched and searched for the right bike. Came home with a balance bike that was too small and a two wheel bike that was too big. So she is back to her original bike and he switched seats and adjusted so it would be just right. He was very patient and worked a couple of nights with her. First just learning to coast down the driveway with no pedals and feet up. Then he added back the pedals and away she went. He would run along side of her just in case. It really didn't take as long as I remember as a kid learning to do it. Only a couple of days and BAM she was doing it.

For Easter this year we just stuck around the house. The day before we went to Camps' house and dyed Easter eggs and then had our own little egg hunt. The kids had a great time. We have been telling them what the holiday is all about and how you should always try to do and be your best. If you mess up you will be forgiven because Jesus died for our sins. He rose on that day to help guide you and make good decisions. It's kind of sad that a lot of the focus is on the Easter Bunny. But, it is fun to see the girls' faces light up in the morning when they see their baskets on the deck and eggs all over the yard.

At the end of the month Izzy had her concert for her voice lessons. She sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. A week later she had her concert for school. It was super sweet. We had been practicing all week because she had a little speaking part in it. Since she was practicing, Addie picked right up on the words and the songs. We had nightly concerts with the girls standing on the ottoman and singing Mountain Music, We Are Family, and Lean On Me. It was great.

Next up, to remember what happened in May. I need to start writing this stuff down again.
