30 weeks

Izzy's new past time
Izzy and her friends...Mara and Phillip Atchity.

the love of my life

tired baby

She hates the flash on the camera. It's hard to get a picture wiyh her eyes open.

Well, like always, I was worried about nothing. After saying "Isabella" a million times to her, she has now caught on. Like Mark says, I just need to let her be a baby. It doesn't matter how old they are, as a parent you will always worry and want only the best for them. I don't have much to say this week so we'll catch you next week.

She looks all grown here.

Lazy Sunday

Another week gone by. I can't believe how fast it goes. Gamma came to Omaha this weekend to hang out. We did a little shopping and just relaxed. Mark was in Des Moines for work so it was nice to have someone to hang out with during the day. That night we went and visited our friends Sarah and Luke and Izzy played with their kids, Macy and Reese. On Sunday Mark's cousin came to stay a couple of days. We went to Zios for dinner and Izzy sat in a highchair for the first time. They are disgusting and it's time to invest in a portable highchair.

We are still working on her name. I guess I shouldn't worry so much. Everyone keeps telling me they learn at different times.

Calling it a night

In the morning before school.

Again in the morning before school. It's the only time to get a picture with out her falling asleep or coming home from school with a different outfit on because she had an accident. Never thought I would get up so early to get myself ready, Izzy ready and still have time to take pictures. Welcome to parenthood!

Relaxing on a Sunday.

Daughter like Father.

Well, I'm two weeks behind and it's hard to remember what happened two weeks ago. It's kind of funny when I ask my friends what they did, with what, at this certain age, and they can't quite remember. Now I get it. We didn't have anywhere to go this week so it was nice to just relax.

My new obsession is that Izzy is suppose to know her name. Not quite there yet but we are working on it. But what she can do is smile alot, say dadadada, rolling quite well now, holding everything, and melts her mom an dad's hearts.

Oh how could I forget....she has teeth! Her front teeth broke through this week.

27 weeks and New Years!

Out for New Years!
Mark, Nate and Brandon all enjoying a beer.

Me, Kris, and Mandi doing the same.

Our pride and joy.

Not sure about this gift.
Mark's nieces and nephew.

Izzy and Aunt Trish.
Prima ballerina.

Jess and Annalise's wedding at the Minden Opera House.

Izzy with Great Grandma Brown in Harvard.

Well it is time for a new decade and New Year's resolutions that only last a few days! We are all doing well and 2010 has started out well. Mark and I got a last minute babysitter and went out to dinner at Bianca. We then met the Darlings and Hoys at 94/95 for a few spirits. We were home and tucked in bed by 11 pm. We actually watched the ball drop in NYC and then called it a night. I don't think we even gave each other a New Years kiss. Boy we are getting old! All in all it was a nice and relaxing New Years.

The next day we headed back to GI to have Christmas with Mark's side of the family. It was nice to have family time and another good meal. The next night we went to Minden to my cousins wedding. It was at the Minden Opera House. I had never been there. It is a very pretty building. Then on Sunday we went to Harvard to see Mark's grandma. We had some pizza, opened a few gifts, and then headed back to Omaha.

Time to start a new week. It will be nice not to have to travel for a while. Time to get something done around the house. Have a good week.
