30 weeks

Well, we only have about 10 weeks to go. I feel like it is going to be an eternity. I went to my check-up yesterday and everything was fine. I don't seem to be gaining too much weight over the two weeks between appointments. Let me tell you that really excites me. Her heartbeat was around 147, isn't that a slower heart rate? Boy? I have had two dreams now that it is a boy. Well, I go back in two weeks for another follow-up. I'll keep you all posted.

Her furniture is here and all the bedding so it is time to give our baby girl a place to lay her head. Talk soon.

finally

Well, after taking an eternity to get my test results back, I passed my 3 hour GTT. Here I come M&M Blizzards. I am truely happy that something went right with this pregnancy. Otherwise our little girl is actively playing in my tummy and growing. I can't wait to meet her in person.

Another hump to get over

Well, today I drank my glucola and headed to the doctor. The doctor checked the baby's heartbeat and everything was fine. I then waited a few more minutes and they pricked my finger. The results came back and I FAILED my glucose test. Ugh, I'm so disappointed. Now I have to go to the hospital and do a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. I sure hope I pass that one. I will keep you all updated.

Moving Right Along!

Legs pushing my belly

waving hello

3D ultrasound

Her big lips

Had another ultrasound today to look at more development of the heart. They were very pleased at how things were progressing. Our sweet little girl, now at 20w and 5d, was already telling us who was in charge. She would move all over the place when we needed her to be still and wouldn't budge when we needed her to shift. She is growing like a weed. I can't believe how fast they change. We got a couple of 3D ultrasounds. She sure has huge lips. As you can see in one picture she is still pushing on my belly with her legs to make a little more room. After the ultrasound Mark and I went and looked at two daycares. One we liked and the other we probably wouldn't leave Cletus at. Anyway hopefully this process will end real soon. Hope everyone is doing well and we will keep up with the posts. See you all soon.

Never thought I'd like being kicked!

Boy, our baby girl has really started kicking this week. It is a weird feeling. I can't wait until she is big enough and we can really see her poke through. Well, I hope you all had a great week and may the best man win the Super Bowl. Go Cards!

Boy or Girl?

Well, Mark and I went yesterday for another ultrasound. I had to drink so much water I could burst. Lets just say it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world. The ultrasound tech, scanned my entire stomach showing us every part of the baby. I couldn't believe how much detail it went into. You could see every chamber of the heart, the kidneys and how blood was flowing through each of them. I knew ultrasound could show good pictures of the structures but I didn't know it was that detailed. So as you could imagine she also showed us the baby's private parts. We are having a girl!!! The look on Mark's face was priceless. I didn't know whether he was going to laugh or cry. I think the thought is finally settling in. The baby's heartbeat is around 158 and very strong. She is doing great and developing nicely. I go back again in 3-4wks for another ultrasound. I am adding a slideshow to the site. The first few are of the body and show how long her legs are. Definitely daddy's height. The last picture shows her legs spread and her crotch in full view. That's how we found out. Hope you are all doing well and we'll keep you posted.

RELEASED

I was finally released on 12-23-08 from the fertility specialist and went to my first real OB apointment yesterday (1/6/09). Nothing real exciting, just lots of questions and listening to the heartbeat. The heartbeat was fast and real strong. Girl, maybe? Mark was laughing at me because I had a big smile on my face listening to the shwoo, shwoo, shwoo. We are going back on Jan. 20th and if the baby cooperates we are suppose to find out the sex. WE ARE SUPER EXCITED.

I finally had to buy a belly band because some of my things are getting a little tight. Man, it's a weird feeling. Thanks for checking in on us and we'll keep posting. Love, Mark and Ari
